Mother's Day 💞

Yes, this is a bit late but better than never. We have a day, usually in May, to show appreciation and celebrate our mothers, mother figures, and the influence of mothers in our lives. I am very fortunate to have many wonderful women in my life that have raised me to become the woman I am today. I would like to share with you all a little about these wonderful mother figures. My Mother, the one and only, she married my father at the age of 16! Yes you read right 16 and a year after I came to the world 😊 My mother raised me in a loving and caring environment and has always been there for me. When we go out that's when crazy things happen. Can you imagine us five (Mom, sisters and I) out at once, its like you asked for trouble! The best part is when we are out together people always ask if we are sisters because the similarity is indistinguishable! I mentioned in the "about" section that I'm a daddy's girl which is true however, the bond I have with my mother is very unique and precious. During those times and until now my grandma (aka dade) has been by their side and helped raised my siblings and I! It was my grandma who would sit with us and teach us Armenian history, cooking, games, tell us crazy stories and the best would be when we would sing Armenian Revolutionary songs (Յեղափոխական). We grew up in a family that always supports us and love us unconditionally and for that I will forever be grateful.

Our moms and mother figures truly inspirational! They are loving, strong, devoted and always there to listen to you and/or lend a shoulder to cry on. This is a wonderful way to celebrate mothers but we must remember that we shouldn't wait for an occasion to celebrate our moms or mother figures but rather appreciate them every single day.
